Total incompetence of staff leading to enormous delays in treatment.
- Four upper teeth were extracted; I need dentures.

I first went to the Palm Coast office on August 4, 2025 to get my upper teeth (which were in poor condition) extracted. I need an upper denture.
I was seen briefly and referred to the South Daytona office because that was where the dental surgeon worked. The earliest appointment I could get was September 3rd partly because the scheduler was on vacation and no one answered the phone or called back. The checked it out and said to come back 0n September 23rd for the extraction. The surgeon extracted only 4 teeth.
I pointed out that my insurance policy said they paid for as many extractions as necessary as long as it was for dentures. I was rescheduled for October 29th only to return to get the story that the procedure was denied by my insurance. I called my insurance and they told me they denied the procedure because it had already been done. The four teeth from September.
I rescheduled for November 12th. and had the same story about the denial. I explained to the scheduler that they had to submit an approval for the remaining teeth and was on the phone between the insurance company and the scheduler (Maria), for over an hour trying to make her understand. I was rescheduled for December 3rd.
The extractions were done. I was told to heal at least a month before returning to Palm Coast to have my dentures made. I got an appointment for January 14th.
On January 14th I was told the old approval for the dentures had expired and I needed a new one. They said they sent it out.
I waited two weeks, then three and they admitted they sent these out by US Postal Service, so no one knows when it will get there. They said they do not have a fax or email. I waited another week and they insurance company said they did not get it so I got the dentist to give me a copy of the request and I sent it out to the ins. co.
by email. They got it the same day. I made an appointment for March 20th and on that date the mold were made. I was told by the dentist and his assistant that they would mail them to the lab and they should be back with a trial denture in about 2 weeks.
Three weeks later I called the dentist and was told it takes about four weeks to get them. After another week it was April 20th and i called again. Not in. They would call the lab and check on it.
Today they called me (April 22) and said there was a problem with the lower mold and they had a cancellation today and could see me.
I asked it it would be another for weeks and and just got a "see you later." We shall see. After all, it has only been eight months and two weeks since this started.

Horrible place! Do not go there!
1st my husbands experience was he went in there and was told he had no choice but to remove a tooth that was bothering him. So he was concerned about this and got a second opinion elsewhere and indeed he did not need to remove his tooth! Even though they kept telling him he had no choice, but to remove his tooth and pay for a full implant. He did not have insurance and they just wanted to get as much as they could out of him.
He paid over $300 for them to tell him he had to remove a tooth which was not even the case. Then I went in there with a quote of zero dollars from my insurance for a crown & a quote from them for $150 for this same crown. So after showing them my letter from my insurance company was told my new quote is $1050. Their reasoning was that my quote was far beyond expiration, which was only 33 days (3 days over their 30 day limit).
Plus they took away my original sheet saying the cost on my end was $150. So when I asked for it back, it was nowhere to be found! This makes you wonder because I called the insurance company right after & even verified about whether or not they cover a crown and they do indeed do so as they double checked it with billing codes! This makes you wonder if these people pocket the money after the insurance company reimburses them for it because they take all this money from their clients.
Do not trust them. Theyre very shady and they lie and they dont return your paperwork if you hand it to them. The reasoning for taking away my paperwork was to correct a tooth number that was apparently listed incorrectly on it however, when they returned with the new estimate, it was still the same tooth number and when confronted about that they denied ever saying that that was the case.
When actually it was the case cause it was told to me Im only taking the *** away to change the tooth number on it, but they brought back a whole other sheet with the same tooth number and $900 more on my end. So they lie to you straight up do not trust them if you want to go to Dentist go anywhere but this place.
Zero customer service. No one ever answers the phone or call back
Answer the phone and return calls . Its easier to visit the office to have questions answered. When you finally speak to someone things go smoothly

Bad customer service

Never had an issue with the dental side but the orthodontic team is the WORST. No one explains anything to you about any of the process.
You can send emails leave voicemails and no one ever gets back to you. When you do speak to someone you have to explain yourself over and over just to hear you will get a call back AND NO ONE EVER CALLS. Going on 3 weeks now Ive been trying to get some help AND NO ONE COULD HELP. I just keep going in circles and because of the *** service my kids will not be going back.
It sucks that I have to basically restart with a new orthodontist when this place could do better.
Im a medical assistant I know how busy things can get and Im not one to post reviews but to not even get back to your patients or explain anything is ridiculous. Im done with this place.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I can't say for sure but I threatened them with your website, the BBB and possibly the local news.
I could not find the location in the addresses. This is the Gulf to Bay, Clearwater, Fl office.
We are at an impasse with them.
We have contacted the Dental Association and are waiting to hear from them. We also looked them up on the BBB site and find they have an F rating.
My husband had a front teeth plate made. It cracked after less than a year. He was told by the office that they would redo it and impressions were taken. He was told his appliance would be ready in two weeks.
He waited a month and heard nothing. When he checked he found that they had not made the appliance and never intended to. He was then told that they would send him to another Dentist to "Start Fresh" and they would call that day with the name of the Dentist. The call never came.
He checked with them again and now the story was that they decided to give him a refund and a check would be mailed the next day. We waited a week and no check. Then the story changed again and he as told the check would come from corporate to their office and he could pick it up there. Today the new dentist (They change dentists like I change my underwear) called and my husband was told that he would have to return the appliance in order to get his refund.
That would mean he would have to put out another thousand dollars with a new dentist or go without teeth for at least a couple of months since it takes time to get an appointment with a new dentist. He does not want to put money out because at this point we do not trust them not to make up an excuse to withhold his refund.
They have lied over and over since this all started. They are the biggest sleezeball operation we have ever encountered.

Stopped in and made an appointment. Receptionist assured me that they take my insurance.
When I arrived for my appointment at the DeLand Florida Ofc I was taken back to have what I thought would be bite wings X-ray. They tech told me the dentist wanted full panoramic X-rays. I stated that this was not what I wanted! Unless this was a no charge.
She said there will be a charge. I immediately left! This dental association is a rip off. Do not go.
When trying to reach their 1-800 number no one would answer. Must leave a msg and they would get back within 24 hours.

Poor facilities and even poorer service.

- Cleaning under 5 minutes with little polishing; office dirty with overflowing trash.
Arrived at 9:00 am for 9:15 cleaning appointment. Was immediately called back to chair for cleaning.
Person cleaning spent no more than 5 minutes cleaning my teeth, used pick very little, no polishing and no flossing of teeth. The office I was brought into was absolutely filthy with overflowing trash can and chair I was asked to sit in very dirty. When I checked out the credit card machine not working so I was told to pay with cash.
Then difficulty with computer connecting with printer for receipt. I spent more time at the check out counter than I did having my teeth cleaned.
